2024  Pre-Season Advanced Youth Basketball Training

Location: Stoner Prairie School in Fitchburg

Dates:   Wednesdays 10/9,16, 23

Times:

• Session 1 = Grades 4-6 boys and girls.   Time: 600-730 pm.  Cost: $95 REGISTRATION:  CLICK HERE

• Session 2 = Grades 7-10.  Time: 730-900 pm.  Cost: $95  REGISTRATION:  CLICK HERE

Note:  This will be an intense camp and is for players primarily looking to develop to play club and high school

​      

Content:

The pre-season camp will focus on skill development and application.  Learning the fundamentals and developing higher level skills is the first step, but application through decision making, reads, reactions and learning the game is what separates players to be great.

• Fundamental shooting mechanics 

• Shooting off the catch and off the dribble

• Ball handling moves to beat your man and relieve pressure

• Using and reading ball screens

• Moving off the ball

• 2 foot finishing moves

• 1 foot finishing moves

• Passing

• Basketball decision training

• Rebounding fundamentals and strategies

• Defensive positioning, pressure and footwork
